DESCRIPTION:Council 4922 is holding its Annual Family Day at the Ballpark Sunday\, August 14th at Angel Stadium. The Angels play Minnesota. The game against the Twins starts at 1:07 PM. This year’s pregame tailgate will be a potluck in the “Big A” parking area beginning at 11:00 AM. \n  \nSeating is in the View All Star Section in the shade behind first base. We have arranged with the Red Cross to bring two blood mobiles to Holy\nFamily on Sunday\, March 20th.  **UPDATE** The blood drive has now been moved into the hall. \nWe really need a new chairman for the Holy Family Blood Drives. Please consider stepping forward to champion this cause. It only takes a few days to organize and monitor the weekend Mass sign-ups and one day to help with the donor check-ins. The Red Cross or UCI does the real work on donation day. This is a job that will truly allow you to save lives. Contact Al Jezowski. \n

SUMMARY:KofC Charity Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The Knights of Columbus Council 4922 has scheduled its final fund raising event\, The Golf Tournament for Monday\, June 13th at the Tustin\nRanch Golf Course.  This year it is an 8:00 AM shotgun start with box lunch/breakfast and a late lunch/early dinner at about 2:00 PM with a full raffle and silent auction. It will be cooler and we will be done sooner. I think we should pick up some new players. So please continue to gather your foursomes together. See the sign-up form at back of newsletter. We really need another large group of golfers this year to make the event a success.\nWe also need to ask you follow up with potential sponsors\, since this is a critical source of income for the event. We will send out an email later to co-ordinate our effort to collect gift cards for the auction baskets and other auction items.

DESCRIPTION:Come join us to support the lives of those born and unborn! Partner with the Knights of Columbus from St. Norbert’s to Holy Family Cathedral. By bringing awareness to those children who missed out at a chance to lead their lives\, this walk expresses our condolences and our protest to the policies authorizing the abortion of children nationwide. Be apart of a movement for change\, familial strength\, and continued worship to God for every breath he gives and plans to give us. \nMoney raised during our annual Walk For Life impacts thousands of women\, and families in our community and beyond each year. Whether our client is a mother-to-be facing an unplanned pregnancy\, a family wishing to deliver their baby in a loving\, medical environment\, a teenager who is learning the impact of her choices on her future\, a woman whose heart needs mending from a past abortion or a single mother looking for a place to call home— we are here to support these precious lives and help lead them toward a bright future.
